Born and raised in West London, Nick’s journey into film and TV started with a childhood dream that came true when he got the chance to do work experience at Pinewood Studios at just fourteen years old. From that moment on, he was hooked.

Fast forward almost two decades, and that spark has grown into a rich career in post-production sales, built on genuine passion and real connections.

He began in Pinewood’s post-production department in his late teens, working as a runner before moving into media transfer. He watched workflows evolve, technologies shift, and with each change, he found himself drawn more and more to the human side of the work. To people and their stories.

“That’s where I first worked with Thom and James,” he recalls. From there, he joined teams launching new departments, including picture restoration and editorial, all while building relationships across creative and technical sides of the business. Those early years taught him the value of understanding the craft without losing sight of the people behind it.

Making the move into sales was kind of inevitable. After years in dimly lit editing rooms, he realised his favourite part of the industry was the collaboration - the people. So he stepped into studio sales, selling stages and facilities at across all the Pinewood Group’s studios to film, TV, and commercial productions. It wasn’t long before his talent for building trust and nurturing connections became clear.

In 2019 he joined Molinare’s post-production team as a Sales Executive. Over six years he worked his way up to Head of Scripted Sales, connecting production companies and creatives with the services and talent they needed to bring projects to life.

At Harbor, Nick brings that same relational heart every day. He describes his role as a blend of pricing, creative talent insight, and understanding client needs. “A big part of what I do is marrying up the dots,” he says, “identifying new projects, linking them with the right talent, and making those conversations personal and meaningful.”

Whether he’s catching up with long-standing collaborators or introducing new clients to the studio’s world-class facilities, Nick’s approach is thoughtful, tailored, and always sincere.

What does he love most about sales? “Talking” he laughs, without hesitation. He’s a people person through and through. Social, yes, but moreover, it’s about listening, understanding, and bringing out the best in others.

To Nick, the difference between being good and exceptional comes down to attention to detail and technical knowledge. Sales at a post-production facility is a lot about relationships, but it’s also about knowing workflows, services, and how every piece of a project fits together; from colour grading and sound mixing to editorial and deliverables. That experience makes him a trusted adviser to clients who lean on him for guidance as well as quotes.

And that guidance doesn’t stop once a contract is signed. Nick stays involved through the life of the project; checking in, celebrating successes, and even hosting end-of-project drinks to reflect on what worked and what could be even better next time.

Outside of work Nick is a devoted family man, usually found attending events with his kids.  When he gets the chance, he heads to the golf course to try to switch off, though he admits “sales never sleeps.”

Now at Harbor, Nick brings the same curiosity and enthusiasm that first drew him to Pinewood as a teenager. It’s that mix of experience and genuine interest in people that continues to shape the way he works.
