Re-Recording Mixer

About

Re-Recording Mixer Alex Bird is a versatile member of Harbor’s London sound team, equally at home in the editorial suite and on the mix stage. He began his career in audio post at Halo Post Production, where he honed his craft across a wide range of film and television projects before joining Harbor.

His credits span some of the most acclaimed productions in recent years, including Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City, Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu, and the BBC series SAS Rogue Heroes. Most recently, Alex served as Dialogue Editor & Re-Recording Mixer on the RTS-Nominated BBC Comedy series Juice, Re-Recording Mixer & Sound Designer on the BAFTA-Winning short Two Black Boys in Paradise, and Senior Mix Technician for Hollywood blockbuster Good Fortune. Currently he is taking on expanded creative responsibilities across several projects – serving as Dialogue Editor across BBC series’ The Capture, Dear England and the latest instalment of SAS Rogue Heroes – demonstrating a growing command of both the technical and creative dimensions of the craft.
