Katie Linard is a colourist recognised for her meticulous attention to detail, reliability, and the seamless blend of artistic vision with technical expertise. She is dedicated to creating a collaborative environment where filmmakers’ ambitions for their final image are not only realised but elevated; crafting rich, expressive colourscapes that enhance powerful storytelling.
She has worked across a diverse range of projects, including feature films, episodic series, documentaries, shorts and music videos.
Katie’s creative journey began in fine art, before evolving through photography and ultimately into colour grading. She developed her craft through a combination of traditional and contemporary training, working her way up to become a colourist. Along the way, she has collaborated with colourists such as Jateen Patel, Damien Vandercruyssen, and Toby Tomkins, as well as a wide range of filmmakers like Chloé Zhao, Łukasz Żal, Suzie Lavelle, Harris Dickinson, Omri Dayan, Chantal Richardson, Tom Ransom, Jessica Vogt, Alicia MacDonald, Pedro Cardillo and Oliver Loncraine.
