Originally from Ireland and currently based in London, Senior Colorist Dan Moran is a highly respected talent, particularly for grading celluloid, which has seen him collaborate with many of the world’s leading filmmakers including directors Babak Anvari, Philip Barantini, Yorgos Lanthimos, Anton Corbijn, and Phil Hawkins; and cinematographers Stephen Murphy BSC/ISC, Kit Fraser, Matthew Lewis, Ed Moore BSC, and Daniel Landin BSC.

Dan collaborated with Director Philip Barantini and Cinematographer Matthew Lewis on the Netflix breakout hit, Adolescence which broke records as the most streamed series on Netflix.

Moran discovered his passion for color at Element Post in Dublin and then moved to London to develop his craft across all genres: advertising, feature, episodic television, music video, and documentary. 

Moran’s expertise in working with film stock and creative look development has established him as a sought-after talent for entertainment projects. Highlights include I Came By, No One Gets Outs Alive, Netflix’s Night On Earth, Malpractice, and George Michael: Freedom.

Shortform work includes projects for major brands like Guinness, Nike, Gucci, Bentley, Stella Artois, and Samsung. Notable music videos include projects for Radiohead, Björk, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Depeche Mode, and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
