Originally from Northern Los Angeles, Billy Hobson began his film career creating skateboarding documentaries. Since his transition into color grading, Billy has been collaborating with some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
Billy’s most recent entertainment titles include the festival award-winning Los Frikis, Sony Pictures Classics’ Shortcomings, Marvel & Sony’s Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage, CBS’s FBI & FBI: Most Wanted, and the critically acclaimed Peanut Butter Falcon. Recent music video collaborations include Dua Lipa’s “Get It Right”, MUSE’s “Thought Contagion,” three of Bebe Rexha’s recent videos, “Break My Heart,” “Sabotage,” and “Sacrifice.” Billy also recently graded the music video for Tiesto and Karol G’s “Don’t Be Shy.”
He has also collaborated on critically acclaimed non-fiction films including Lauren Greenfield’s latest feature-length documentaries The Kingmaker and Generation Wealth.
